Real World Nutrition Challenge

Later this month, I am launching my first “challenge.” 

The Real World Nutrition Challenge is March 20-24, 2023. 

This free challenge is a fun way to learn more about nutrition and how it can work in your life and your world. 

Nutrition is part of our world, and our body needs nutrients.

That is a fact – you cannot live without eating, and you cannot avoid it.  

Many people enjoy it. Some people are confused by it. Others do it without considering any implications of the food they eat. 

And nutrition can be VERY confusing

The fads, gimmicks, trends, and unrealistic ideas about eating in the real world – how does one do it? 

Real World Nutrition accepts that: 

  • You eat out.

  • You don’t always cook at home.

  • You want to eat what you want.

  • You don’t want to skip a social activity because of the restrictions you have.

  • You don’t want to work out for three hours because you had a cupcake.

  • You are a regular person who does regular things. Mostly.

 

The Real World Nutrition Challenge is FIVE days of:

  • Nutrition Myth Busting – where to even start? 

  • Clarity about what the hype is – do you need to skip carbs? Are you getting enough protein? Which supplements do you need? And is fat still the enemy? 

  • What you can do to adopt a sustainable way of eating that provides the nutrients we need without freaking out over our food. Sustainable means what you can do for your life, not just for a month. 

  • A “challenge” of the day, whether this is a mindset shift, looking at your prior beliefs, allowing yourself to eat more freely, or even being a nutrition “detective.”

There are FIVE days of topics:

  • Good carbs, bad carbs

  • Where is your protein?

  • Dietary Supplements 

  • Hydration – more than water

  • Fats – don’t fear them.

Each day will have a live video addressing the topic and present you with the day’s challenge, and you can ask questions. 

You will receive a daily email with additional details of the day’s challenge.
