Quality vs. Quantity
Quality vs. Quantity
As we enter this last couple of weeks of the year and a couple more holiday celebrations, let’s talk about quality vs. quantity.
Quality vs. quantity isn’t about gifts – though that is something always to consider.
Quality vs. quantity isn’t about time with family and friends – though this is important too.
Quality vs. quantity is about food – because that is the website’s theme.
Quality vs. quantity isn’t about buying store brands vs. brand-name food items – store brands are just fine.
Quality vs. quantity is about the food you choose when you are part of the holiday celebrations.
It is skipping the store-made baked goods you can get the other 50-plus weeks out of the year.
It is skipping gelatin-based “salad” carried over from the 1970s. Unless you like it, but don’t feel obligated to eat it just because your family member made it.
It is skipping the food you don’t like and going for quality food.
Taking servings of the things you love. (And if you like those store-bought cupcakes with green frosting, that is okay.)
Take bites of things you like if you want to.
Take a pass on the things you don’t care for, and do not eat something out of obligation.
Take in quality foods and skip the mass quantity.
